In Memoriam

Our father, Salvatore Falvo, died peacefully at 4.50pm on the 21st of January, 2002. He was 80 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, and seven children. Silvana, Frank, Julie, Vince, Josie, Carmelina and Domenic.

It was the most happiest yet saddest days of my life. I was happy to see him finally reach the eternal paradise, but sad to see the most brilliant man I have ever known to leave my side forever.

Our dad died from Liver cancer. Liver cancer is one of the biggest killers of European emigrants in Australia. It mainly afflicts men. If not diagnosed early, it will surely take the life of the afflicted.

As soon as we discovered of his condition, we tried everything in our power to help him. But there is no cure. I have compiled a list and links of some helpful resources for anyone's father who may have the same affliction.

Dad leaves us many wonderful memories. This website will help us remember what an amazing man he was.
